Standing Rules

 
    1. The specialty chairperson can neither enter nor exhibit dogs at the club’s specialty show.  (1994)  
 
    2. At least 75% of the net proceeds from the PUGTACULAR are to be applied to NCPC’S pug rescues program. (2001)
 
    3. Individuals benching their dog(s) with the club at the Cow Palace Show may, at the discretion of the membership, be assessed an amount per dog to cover expenses for benching. (2004)
 
    4. NCPC’s website will only be allowed to link to the AKC and PDCA sites from the main page. (1999)
 
    5. Judges for the NCPC’s specialty will be taken from the list of all AKC approved pug judges each year. (2001)
 
    6. All outstanding debt owed to the club by a member must be paid in full prior to any new credit being extended. This includes, but is not limited to, items such as Pug Pen ads, catalog ads, trophy donations, and duplicate annual awards. (2004)  
    7. When the Club has projects or activities which bring in money, the responsible chairperson will be in charge of collecting, counting and delivering the funds to the Club Treasurer in a timely manner appropriate to the event. The Treasurer will be responsible for providing the chairperson with a receipt for the funds received, depositing the funds in the bank, and will then be accountable for the funds.  (Approved April 23, 2006)
 
    8. Each year’s Specialty show will be dedicated to the memory of any NCPC club member who passed away during that year.  (Approved October 2009)
 
    9. Judges selected to judge the NCPC annual specialty show are prohibited from accepting other pug judging assignments in California for the six months immediately prior to the specialty date.  Such restriction will be placed in all future judging contracts.  (Approved October 2009)
 
    10. Results for junior handler competition, when the junior is handling a pug, will be posted on the club's website when at least one of the junior handler's parent(s)/legal guardian(s) are regular members in good standing with NCPC.  (Approved February 2010)
