Terri and Rocco, both new to the ring,
started showing on June 10, 2007. Their first win was
on August 18, 2007 in Enumclaw, WA the week of the Puget Sound
Pug Dog Club's Specialty. They won Best of Winners
and a 5 point major. What a thrilling way to
start! Rocco won his second 3 point major at the
limited breed Nor-Cal Toy Dog Fanciers show in San Jose,
CA on February 15, 2008. Terri recently finished Rocco to
his championship on April 13, 2008 in Sacramento, CA.
They finished by winning Best of Breed from the classes!
Being an inexperienced handler when she started, Terri
is proud to have finished Rocco to his championship in
10 months and 7 ribbons.

About the Owner:

Ken
and Terri brought home their first pug Sierra in August
2005 and then Iris in July 2006. They are
certainly proof that pugs are addictive because in
December 2006 when Rocco became available he also became
a part of their family.
During their search for their second pug Iris, they
found NCPC. Their first club function and show
experience was June 2006 at the B-match in
Hercules. Ken handled Iris in the 3-6 month puppy
class. Though they didn't win, Ken and Terri were
hooked and began attending subsequent shows.
In May 2007 Terri started showing pugs for Rosemary
Robles of Pocket Pugs. Having Rosemary as a mentor
Terri has learned a lot and plans to continue showing
pugs for a long time to come. Ken hopes to
be back in the ring as well very soon.
