About the owner:  I've done nothing but love my pugs and been grateful that the pug people have welcomed me to the "pug community."   I've been owned by Rottweilers for almost 25 years and, although they will always be my first love, I will never be without a pug (or two or 3 or...) from now on.  The little dogs that I never thought to own have won my heart and home over.

I started in dog shows in 1983 in competition events and have trained and titled companion dogs, companion dog excellent dogs, tracking dogs, Schutzhund dogs,  herding dogs and agility dogs.  In the conformation ring, I've finished dogs here in the States, Canada and Mexico.  I've attained Best in Specialty show wins in two countries and even a Best in Show win on my own dog.  I've campaigned Rottweiler bitches into our Top Ten competition awards for the year end standings twice; once for friends and once as a breeder/owner/ handler.  At the height of my "lunancy," I traveled 287 days out of the year showing dogs.  I'm much more sane these days. :)  I've enjoyed the life and lifelong friends that my dogs have afforded me.  It's been a great ride so far.
