received her AKC championship with 5 ribbons, four of
which were majors. She received 3 majors and 14
points in a 48-hour time period at the Nor-Cal Toy Dog
Fanciers weekend finishing at Santa Clara K.C. at 10
months of age from the puppy class. She received
4 best of winners and 2 best of opposites on her way
to her championship. Poppy was always
owner-handled.

We
have had a pug since 1990; they were always our house
dog. We retired in 2000 and decided to get a show
bitch and start breeding pugs -- much harder then we
expected. It took until 2006 before we got the
puppy we wanted from Mianda Pugs (Phyllis
Williams). Then I decided she was too small.
Rosemary Robles talked me into keeping her and said
she's fine. She was dynamite in the show ring even
though she weighed 15 lbs. I almost sold her as a
pet because of her size. Thank goodness for
helpful pug friends.
