Pug of the Month
"Cagney"

Am. & Int'l. Ch. CoryRex's American Dream

Date of birth: December 17, 2001
Owner: Steve and Joanne Clark
Breeder: Courtney and Tony Roberts
Sire: Ch. Full Moon I'm Engaging, ROM*
Dam: Ch. CoryRex's Tangerine Dream, ROM
Titles: Cagney earned his AKC championship title in June of 2003 and his International championship title in January 2003.  He was proudly owner-handled to all points.
Favorite food: Asparagus, zucchini and chicken
Favorite toy: Brown teddy bear and anything small enough he can carry around in his mouth.
Likes: Sleeping on the bed, lots of cuddling, and girl pugs.
Dislikes: Nail grinding day, being told no (like it's a real word to a pug), and days when he doesn't come to work with me.
Home companions: Cagney is an only pug, but we hope to add a little girlfriend pug to our family later this year.  We also have Emma, a 12-year old, very crabby, Tibetan Terrier.  :)
E-mail Cagney at: CherishedPugs@aol.com or see more of him at www.cherishedpugs.com.
About the owners: Cagney is our first pug.  We attended a puppy evaluation party at the Roberts' home, picked up Cagney from the puppy pen, fell in love with him, and three weeks later he came home with us.  We are no strangers to the pug world as we have always been a doting aunt and uncle to the Storybook Pugs.  We also attended many pug events with our boxer, Madison, who seriously thought she was a pug.  We look forward to getting a female pug companion for Cagney and expanding our family.

Cagney learning how to table stack at 3 months.

Cagney won the very competitive 6-9 puppy dog class at the PDCA Nationals under the guidance of his "grampy," Bob Birdwell.

Cagney finished his AKC championship title
with 3 majors.

A very content pug.
