Cost: $10.00 per person for
all you can eat Chili, corn bread and sodas.
Drinks other than sodas (e.g., beer, wine, etc.) are BYOB
What to bring: To be a participant in
the cook-off, bring a big pot of your favorite chili (plus a trivet
and a ladle to serve and any toppings you want served with your
chili,
i.e., cheese, onions, sour cream)
and/or a pan of your favorite cornbread.
OR just
bring your appetite and enjoy homemade chili and cornbread!

and vegetarian chili and best cornbread!**

Directions: From
Sacramento/Vallejo area coming from Rte. 80W
Take the Hercules Exit (that is right after the Willow/Rodeo
exit.)
Turn left at the light/San Pablo Ave.
Turn right at the light/Hercules Ave.
Turn right on Santa Fe Street and you'll see the Clubhouse and
outdoor
pool on the right as you come down the hill. The driveway and
parking
area is on the right after you pass the pool and clubhouse.
From San Francisco or Oakland coming on Rte. 80E
Take the Pinole Valley Road exit (right past the Appian Way
exit) and
turn left at the bottom of the ramp/light onto Pinole Valley
Road. When
you come to a traffic light with an elementary school on your
left,
veer right and follow Pinole Valley Road (the road turns into
Tennant
St., if you remain straight).
Turn right at the light onto San Pablo Ave. and go up the hill.
At the top of the hill
turn left onto Hercules Ave. (at
the light).
Turn right on Santa Fe Street and you'll see the Clubhouse and
outdoor
pool on the right as you come down the hill. The driveway and
parking
area is on the right after you pass the pool and clubhouse.
From the East Bay coming on Rte 4W
Take Route 4W all the way until it ends at San Pablo Ave. in
Hercules (Do
not go onto Rte. 80!)
Turn left at the light/San Pablo Ave.
Turn right at the light/Hercules Ave.
Turn right on Santa Fe Street and you'll see the Clubhouse and
outdoor
pool on the right as you come down the hill. The driveway and
parking
area is on the right after you pass the pool and clubhouse.
